Georgetown

Yesterday John and I went to D.C. and just walked around. You wouldn't think I lived 30 minutes away my WHOLE life, I was a tourist to the extremmeeee. Poor John. If I'd only had a fanny pack!
We went to this little pub called Mr. Smith's. It wasn't much on the outside; I was expecting just a little dark pub, but when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. They had lots of greenery and a patio, which was perfect for the beautiful weather. And their food.. delish.. which I'm a sucker for. =)

Spring Break is coming

Thank God, Spring Break will be here in 12 hours. I need this break, with going to school and working every other freaking second, my life has been on the back burner. I finally get some time to catch up on my social life.

I'm thinking skin care/ beauty post and spring must haves next week.

Spring time adds an extra pep in my step. I love being able to walk outside and not bundle up. Problem is I'm a little underwhelmed by my wardrobe. Shopping trip... no.. stupid recession. I plan on jazzing up my life with accessories. Oooh... blog idea.. I think so, and hopefully it will inspire me.

I'm off to take my communications midterm that I didn't start studying for until midnight last night.. whoopsie. Procrastination at its best.

running into a creative wall

So I have lost any time management skills I ever had these past couple months. I need to get on my game again.

I'm stuck in a creative rut! Every time I go to make an outfit I don't know what to put on. Every time I try and scrapbook I draw a blank. I need a good creative burst!

I'm thinking about going down to the pottery place and paint something, it might be a way to jump start my creativeness.

I also want to invest in a new camera, mine stinks! I want to put a ton of pictures on here but my camera stinks so bad!


But over the weekend I went to my boyfriends banquet for his volunteer fire department. Purple was our color, and I must say we pulled it off. These are the only pictures I have; Stole them from the inlaws =)
