I'm finally back from my hiatus. This semester kicked my butt, example... I was up for 22 hours straight of strickly studying and taking exams. It might have been the worst and longest day of my life!

But now its over, and it finally feels like Christmas! These are some of the things that help me get into the Christmas spirit =)

thankful for thanksgiving

Sorry I've been gone for so long, but schools kicking my butt. But its almost over! I figured I would make a list of what I'm thankful for this year because I have soo much...

MY BOYFRIEND <3
He does so much for me, and just keeps my head on straight when the world gets a little crazy.

MY BESTEST FRIEND
We've been BFF's since 7th grade, and though we don't see each other a lot we have never gone a day with out talking <3
MY EDUCATION
School might cause so much stress, I know it's important to my future and I'm grateful because some people may never be able to go
 FAMILY
I might have the best family ever and I don't know what I would do with out them.
CAFFEINE
It's my drug. It's what gets me through the day, everyday.
SUNNY DAYS
Nothing puts me in a better mood then a beautiful day.
RAINY DAYS
It give you an excuse to be a little extra lazy, and some days we need a forced lazy day.
 THE FIRST AMENDMENT
Especially the freedom of the press, not only because of my future profession, but this amendment gives us all a right that not many have.
GOOGLE
Sad but true. Not just google, but all of technology. Makes my life so much easier.

and most importantly....BREAK.

Lace can be either really good, or really bad! I think if worn right, it can add elegance and class to an outfit. With this trend remember: LESS IS MORE

This isn't camo people. Military-inspired pieces have really stepped it up to the next level. These are chic ways to wear this trend. The red jacket is my favorite, its not the first thing you think of when you think of this trend.

fall festival fun =)

....loving the alliteration, anyways lol. I dragged the boyfriend to the Fairfax Fall Festival. It was filled with tons of cute tents and yummy food. Unfortunately I was not the only one with this idea; It was super packed. It was also 10 degrees hotter then it was supposed to be. These two things made for a grumpy boyfriend, so we were only there for about an hour but it was still fun =)

brest cancer awarness

My Nona has been a breast cancer survivor for almost a decade. Ever sense she was diagnosed I've tried to spread the word. I used to walk in Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. I rock my i <3 boobies bracelet proudly.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month I'm dedicating this post to everything pink =)

tuesday

Today I went with the leg warmers. I incorporated them underneath my boots. It gives them a little more extra then just a plain leg. I have been thinking about this outfit for a while, I was afraid it was going to be too much, but I think it turned out wonderful! I'm loving the neutrals this season and this is definitely neutral. But not so neutral I look nakie, the black is a punch of color (never knew you could do that huh, lol). This is def a new favorite =)

monday outfit

I started off this week's challenge with the silver bubble skirt. I loved how it turned out. I googled "silver bubble skirt" (what i do for inspiration sometimes) and everything was soo monochromatic. People only paired it with black and white, but that's no fun. So I though in my turquoise striped sweater to give it some color and texture.

stripes stripes stripes

Stripes are taking over my closet! Every season stripes seem to take on a new life. I have never been a strip person, but they're rubbing off on me and I love it. These are all in my closet, and they fit right in =)

These are all other great stripes, now if only they could join my collection... One day...
